Remaining Mason Street asphalt and concrete work to resume May 13, 2024

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The City of Fort Collins Streets Department will conduct remaining asphalt and concrete work on Mason Street starting May 13, 2024, weather permitting. The work is expected to take three weeks to complete, and will be completed in conjunction with utility work occurring near the intersection of Mason and Mulberry.

Work will primarily occur in two locations: on Mason Street from Maple Street to Mountain Avenue, and on Mason Street near Mulberry Street.

From Maple Street to Mountain Avenue work on Mason Street include work on curbs, hole filling and repairs to minor landscaping.

Near Mulberry Street work on Mason Street will include waterline abandonment and replacement as well as hole filling and repaving. The intersection of Mulberry Street and Mason Street will be fully closed to vehicle traffic on Sunday, June 2 for additional paving work.

This phase will conclude the 2023-24 major streets maintenance and improvements on Mason Street.

Work Zone Information

Typical working hours are weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., however work may occur outside these times. Weekend work may be required to expedite the project. Alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zones.

Drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists should use caution in the work zone.
