Utilities Construction Complete on Plum Street and City Park Avenue

Posted on: Jun-13-2014

Fort Collins Utilities has completed installation of new stormwater and sanitary sewer systems in Shields and Plum Streets and City Park Avenue.  The stormwater improvements increased capacity and upgraded the system with larger inlets, thereby improving drainage and decreasing flooding risk in this area. The sanitary sewer system was upsized in City Park Avenue and Shields and Plum Streets to provide adequate capacity for projected growth.

Private construction work continues on both City Park Avenue and Plum Street. Remaining construction and road closures are related to these separate projects – all construction work related to Fort Collins Utilities has been completed.
