Utilities' Water Catchers Award Honors Locals Who Reduce Use

Posted on: Aug-06-2014

The Fort Collins Utilities Water Catchers Award Program recognizes the efforts of customers who conserve water. Awards are available to businesses and homeowners, including individual, youth and family categories.

Nominations will be accepted until Aug. 31, and awards will be presented at the Sustainable Living Fair, on Sept. 20.

Examples of water conservation efforts include replacing high water-using toilets, re-landscaping with Xeriscape, upgrading a sprinkler system or repairing leaks. Preference is given to projects that produce measureable water savings, are innovative or can be used as a model that others can replicate.

Nominate yourself or someone else at https://www.fcgov.com/water-catchers.
