Posted on: Nov-03-2014

The City of Fort Collins ClimateWise program is hosting its fourth-quarter ClimateWise Orientation, Friday, Nov. 7, 8:30-9:30 a.m., Community Room, 215 N. Mason St.

Fort Collins businesses and ClimateWise business partners are invited to attend this free event and learn about the ClimateWise program and how their business can save money and reduce carbon emissions.

Recognized as a “Top 50 Innovative Government Program†by Harvard University, ClimateWise is a free voluntary program sponsored by the City of Fort Collins. More than 360 business partners participate through energy and water conservation, waste reduction and alternative transportation. In turn, ClimateWise provides free public recognition, peer-to-peer networking, tools and ongoing educational support.

Since 2000, ClimateWise business partners, ranging from large to small organizations, have achieved a cumulative savings of $83 million and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 1.2 million metric tons.
