North Shields Street Lane Closure, Starting July 6

Beginning Monday, July 6, for approximately one week, Shields Street will be reduced to one lane north of Willox Lane as Fort Collins Utilities continues the construction of a new sewer main in the area.

During this phase of the project, the final manhole of the North Shields Street Sanitary Sewer Extension Project will be installed.

Shields Street remains closed to through traffic from Vine Drive to Willox Lane due to the Larimer County bridge replacement work. Commuters can expect delays, though access will be provided to local residences and businesses.

Safety for residents, commuters, bike riders, pedestrians and work crews is a priority. For safety purposes, be sure to follow all signage instructions.
