FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The City of Fort Collins is rebuilding the College Avenue and Trilby Road intersection to improve safety and traffic flow, with the project divided into three phases. The first phase of work began on April 1 and will last until Aug. 1.

As a part of that work, northbound College Avenue will be reduced to one lane from Triangle Drive to Trilby Road from 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 13 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16. Northbound travelers on College Avenue should expect delays during peak traffic hours during the lane reduction; alternate routes are encouraged.

Work Zone Information

Access to nearby residences and businesses will be maintained via detour routes. Drivers are advised to follow posted detours and drive with caution in the vicinity of construction zones.

Typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., however limited work may occur outside of these times. The project construction timeline is estimated and may be affected by weather and unforeseen conditions.
