Our Climate Future (OCF) is a community guide to help Fort Collins, Colorado create the carbon neutral, zero waste and 100% renewable electricity future we desire while improving our community equity and resilience. Our Climate Future articulates an unwavering commitment to mitigating and adapting to climate change with a comprehensive approach that puts people first.
Our Climate Future implementation intensifies our efforts towards these primary environmental goals:
- Reduce 2030 greenhouse gas emissions by 80% below 2005 baseline levels;
- Provide 100% renewable electricity by 2030 with grid and local sources and
- Achieve zero waste, or 100% landfill diversion, by 2030.
